Interior projects
It’s not about what it is. It’s about what it can become.
After more than 25 years working for multinationals in consultancy and HR and having seen many countries and cultures, while at the same time having a passion for design & art for many years, I bundled my passions in 2019 and opened Lit d’Art Boutique Hotel in an architectural gem by architect F. Smet-Verhas belonging to ‘The Five Continents’. The reactions and the result were overwhelming and it is then that I made the decision to further develop my creative talents. In the meantime, many apartments have been furnished for both private use and residential villas and larger-scale projects, for example the furnishing of other hotels.
Think exclusive. Think elegant. Tasteful. Timeless. Or just colorful, characteristic and contemporary. I love creating exquisite interiors, as unique and individual as our clients. From a bold, exciting concept to a precise, flawless finish. With care, craftsmanship and a reassuring peace. Always with an eye for detail and finesse. The selection of furniture, lighting and decoration is done with a full understanding of my clients’ needs, emphasizing that each project is special. Budgets are adhered to with an emphasis on quality and value. Every project is handled professionally and completed on time. Below are some before and after examples.
“Home” is the nicest word there is.

Hotel Ibis
The Adagio Access Aparthotel was created next to the existing Ibis hotel in Ghent. With a brand new lobby, bar and several co-working spaces with a view of the harbor water. 98 new studios and apartments were added to the complex. The project was to decorate the new lobby, a breakfast area, co-working space, meeting room, lounge, bar and reception. The selected decoration matches the color palette of the interior from a selection of multiple brands. For the art, various artists with a special matching abstract style, resulting in an inspiring and surprising set of artworks.
Palais du Sud
A beautiful mansion overlooking the garden and the beautiful KMSKA has been completely redecorated. An apartment is located on the first and second floor in this beautiful Art Nouveau building. On the ground floor, the three rooms were redecorated and the six-metre-long design chandelier, specially designed by the Spanish designer Nathalia for the house, was given its place. The flowers were made one by one by hand with natural materials. Authentic elements such as interior doors, parquet floors, marble mantelpieces, wainscoting, moldings were retained. An elegant interior was chosen, timeless colors with exclusive design eye catchers here and there. In the entire staircase and the house, art was chosen on metal, canvas and collages.
Exclusive Boutique Hotel Lit d'Art
The existing mansion, part of the ensemble “The Five Continents” by architect F.Smet-Verhas, was transformed into an Exclusive Boutique Hotel with 4 suites, each with its own theme. This protected monumental building was renovated and furnished while retaining the authentic style elements combined with contemporary techniques and comfort, luxurious materials and refined art. The furnishings received high-quality materials and design pieces, mainly from Italian designers.
Vrijdagmarkt
We are located on the flaboyant square of the Vrijdagsmarkt. Right opposite the star restaurant Dim Dining, an authentic building with three apartments has been completely renovated. The top one with a unique rooftop terrace where you can admire the skyline of Antwerp. The charming authentic facade has been retained. Arm in arm with the famous designer Daniela Dallavalle, these three apartments were given a separate theme with their own color palette and Italian touch. They worked with natural elements, design furniture and self-created art. A first for Belgium.
